"Jujutsu Kaisen 0," the Japanese anime movie adaptation of Gege Akutami's "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High" that was released in Japan last month, is coming to theaters in regions outside Japan this year following its impressive feat in the local box office. The series also teased some details on the second season of its TV anime adaptation in a new preview.

"Jujutsu Kaisen 0" is coming to South Korea, Hong Kong in February. The movie is also set to roll out in theaters in the U.S., Canada and other regions but there is no definitive release date available at the moment.

It is said that the movie could come out sometime in mid-February in those regions. An announcement on the release date is most likely imminent.

The team also released the first poster teasing the movie's release in Hong Kong and South Korea. If the release window is accurate, this is great news for fans considering that it took "Demon Slayer: Infinity Train " seven months to have its theatrical launch outside Japan.

"Jujutsu Kaisen 0" anime film has sold 5,671,950 tickets for 7,714,084,650 yen (about $66.91 million) in the first 18 days since it opened on Dec. 24. The film is now the 80th highest-earning film in Japanese box office history.

The anime movie earned around $23.5 million in its first three days and topped the box office chart during its opening weekend.

For anime fans, "Jujutsu Kaisen" is seemingly setting the stage for its second season though it has yet to be announced.

The team dropped the latest trailer of the anime, offering fans a glimpse of the action coming their way very soon. While the trailer mainly celebrates the film's success in Japan, it also shows some scenes highlighting the Gojo's Past arc.

It follows the event that took place in the Death Painting Womb arc, which is the last arc of the anime's first season.
