"Jujutsu Kaisen 0" anime film has sold 5,671,950 tickets for 7,714,084,650 yen (about $66.91 million) in the first 18 days since it opened on Dec. 24. The film is now the 80th highest-earning film in Japanese box office history.

The anime movie earned around $23.5 million in its first three days and topped the box office chart during its opening weekend.

For anime fans, "Jujutsu Kaisen" is seemingly setting the stage for its second season though it has yet to be announced.

The team dropped the latest trailer of the anime, offering fans a glimpse of the action coming their way very soon. While the trailer mainly celebrates the film's success in Japan, it also shows some scenes highlighting the Gojo's Past arc.

It follows the event that took place in the Death Painting Womb arc, which is the last arc of the anime's first season.
