Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel celebrated 10 years of their marriage Wednesday. In the wake of their wedding anniversary, here's a timeline of their relationship.

January 2009 - Began dating

While the couple kept their romance private since January 2009, rumors about their love were doing the rounds in the media. However, they were first spotted together on camera in April 2009 at a basketball game.

March 2011 - The split

The couple called it quits after almost two years of dating. They confirmed the split by releasing a statement through their representatives in March 2011.

"Addressing the media speculation regarding Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's relationship, we are confirming that they mutually have decided to part ways," said the statement, ET reported. "The two remain friends and continue to hold the highest level of love and respect for each other."

November 2011 - Back again and engaged!

After almost eight months, the pair was again spotted together. In December 2011, the couple got engaged. Biel said the proposal was hilarious because it happened while they were snowboarding in Montana.

"All of a sudden, he just gets down onto his knees and just sinks into the snow," Biel said on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" show earlier this year. "Then he just looks up at me and holds up the ring."

"It was the most lovely, surprising, hilarious [proposal]," she added.

October 2012 - Got married

Timberlake and Biel got married in Italy in October 2012. The couple announced they will be welcoming their first baby soon in February 2015. Timberlake had also shared a picture of him kissing his wife's baby bump on Instagram.

In April 2015, the couple welcomed their first baby boy, named Silas Randall.

February 2018 - Music album for family

Timberlake created his fifth studio album, "Man of the Woods" and dedicated it to his family. The album consisted of 18 music tracks. Biel was featured in the title track, "Man of the Woods."

December 2019 - Public apology

Timberlake was spotted holding hands with actress Alisha Wainwright, who worked with him in the 2021 movie "Palmer." After photos of them surfaced on social media, the actor posted a public apology to his wife.

"A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment -- but let me be clear -- nothing happened between me and my co-star," he shared. "I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that."

January 2020 - Baby No. 2

The couple welcomed their second baby boy, Phineas, during the pandemic.

The couple reached a milestone this Wednesday as they celebrated 10 years of their marriage. Timberlake shared a series of photos featuring him and his wife spending quality time with each other.

"10 years ain't enough! You make me a better husband and father every day! I love you so much you beautiful human! Run it back!" he captioned the post Wednesday.

Biel also shared a series of photos featuring their fun moments and wrote, "Being married to you is the adventure of a lifetime! Run it back, baby. RUN IT BACK. I love you."

Timberlake will be next seen in the movie "Reptile," which is slated to release next year. Biel was last featured in a series, titled "Candy," in May.
