Kanye West is reportedly competing with Jay Z, but this time it's not about album sales or creative lyrics. The 37-year-old rapper is trying to have another baby before Hova and Beyonce, according to several reports.

Their friendship already seems to have cooled after the 44-year-old skipped West’s wedding to Kim Kardashian in May. Then, West omitted Jay Z’s name from his rap songs. Earlier this month, the rapper hit the stage and performed at the X Games Austin Music Festival. In two songs, “Blood on the Leaves” and “Cold,” West intentionally did not say Jay Z’s name. Also, in “Blood on the Leaves,” he changed the lyrics from “you need to stop actin’ lazy” to “you need to stop actin’ crazy.” The full lyrics were, “I don’t give a damn if you used to talk to ___ // He ain’t with you, he with Beyoncé, you need to stop actin’ crazy.”

Now, West allegedly wants to add to his brood before Jay Z does. He already has a daughter, North West, and Jay has a daughter, Blue Ivy. “Kanye is determined to show up Jay and Beyonce, at least in the baby-making department,” a rap insider told Dish Nation.

“He’s always felt inferior to Jay, especially as a rhymer and songwriter. And Kanye has been stewing ever since Jay and Bey blew off his wedding. Kanye thinks having a baby so soon after Nori’s birth will show the world that he and Kim are more solid than Jay and Bey,” the source continued.

They already seem to be more solid, as Jay Z and his wife are currently having marital issues, according to reports. Beyoncé reportedly got too close to her bodyguard, Julius de Boer, and Jay Z allegedly has been cheating on the singer with VIP club hostess Casey Cohen. While neither has addressed the allegations, two weeks ago, Cohen hired a lawyer who wrote a cease-and-desist letter stating the two “have never been in love or intimate” and that the reports are “a foul and phony mistress-rumor.”

She has admitted to meeting both Jay Z and Beyoncé, but only through her job at 1OAK. Cohen is demanding an apology from Bauer Publishing, the owner of InTouch, which put out the incriminating story. She also wants the magazine to apologize to Jay Z and his wife, in addition to the removing all incriminating stories regarding the alleged trysts.
