Kanye West did not and will not allow his detractors to stop him from his spiritual transformation and mission. Amid the criticisms, West was reportedly invited to appear in a Sunday Service to talk about the challenges and adversities he experienced and how he overcame them and guess what? Ye agreed to the invitation.

A supposed source reportedly told the news outlet, TMZ that West and Joel Osteen, American pastor, televangelist and famous author, had been recently talking regularly. The “I Declare: 31 Promises To Speak Over Your Life” author reportedly invited the 42-year-old rapper to appear on his 11 AM Sunday Service at the Lakewood Church.

The source, in addition, reportedly revealed the plan which included Pastor Osteen wanting his congregation of around 45,000 members and television audience of around 10 million viewers just in the United States alone to hear about how West overcame the adversities in his life through a 20 to 30-minute conversation at the pulpit. The news outlet was further told that Pastor Osteen would ask West to differentiate his life before and now.

West received a warning before. With his popularity and reputation, it’s not easy to walk his Christian faith in Hollywood. There will be a lot questions, criticisms, skepticism and persecutions. While he continues his quest to deliver the Gospel of God through his performance of the songs in “Jesus Is King” album, many believed that everything was an act of self-promotion.

People say West is crazy for out loudly speaking his thoughts; hence, the suspicions rose when he openly claimed how Christianity transformed him so much so when he recently spoke about running for Presidency in 2024. West talked about this possibility during Fast Company’s Innovation Festival in New York but the audience responded with laughter and disbelief.

“What y’all laughing at?” he continued. West said that when he runs for president in 2024, many jobs would’ve been created that he would not run. Instead, he would walk.

People have divided opinions about West’s true intention. Some Pastors, however, call for people to not criticize him instead pray for him that he may be grounded in his faith and not go astray.

Amid the ongoing controversy involving West and his new found faith, the rapper’s “Jesus Is King” album soared high. 11 songs from the said album occupied the top spots of Hot Gospel Songs Billboard Chart this week making West the first person to simultaneously occupy the top spots, Forbes reported.
