Following bombshell reports which alleged that “Kate Plus 8” star Kate Gosselin is guilty of alcohol and child abuse, insiders are now claiming the mom of eight reportedly snoops on her brood’s private phone calls with their dad, ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

While Kate, 39, was infamous for barking orders to her former co-star, on their now defunct TLC series “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” insiders close to the reality-TV family claim Gosselin still does her best to keep tabs on her ex. According to Radar Online, Kate’s “babysitter rulebook” insists caregivers for her eight children: twins Mady and Cara, 13, and sextuplets Leah, Aaden, Collin, Alexis, Hannah and Joel, 10, must “eavesdrop” on all of their conversations with their father.

“ALWAYS listen with one ear to hear what they’re saying,” Gosselin’s babysitter manual reportedly reads. “You are always my eyes and ears and need to report everything you see and hear!!!”

Not only are the kid’s calls heavily monitored, they’re also reportedly limited.

“They may call their dad when they ask permission using the house phone only. You do not have to grant permission if you are busy or the schedule doesn’t allow it,” the manual reads, adding, “Please keep a listening ear open and have them stand nearby.”

Not only does Gosselin keeps tabs on her kid’s conversations, the reality-TV mom's employees are also reportedly ordered to clue her in on any interactions they may have with her 37-year-old former husband.

“Even if we had a conversation about nothing, I had to e-mail her all the details,” one unidentified sitter revealed. “I also had to keep a log of every time Jon returned the [shared] van to make sure he used the correct amount of gas!”

When not busy tending to her famous brood, the manual suggests nannies are also responsible for landscaping, cleaning and caring for her Pennsylvania-estate’s chicken coop.

Prior to Radar Online’s reports, In Touch Weekly published excerpts from author Robert Hoffman’s new tell-all book “Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World.” According to the tabloid's July 14 feature, Hoffman’s information (reportedly obtained via Gosselin’s computer hard drive) allegedly reveals Gosselin has been known to “hit the bottle” on more than on occasion as well as administer “violent spankings” on her children for “minor offenses.”

“Kate is an unfit mother,” Hoffman told the magazine. “People will be shocked to learn that the cruelty in the Gosselin household is still very much going on.”

“Kate Plus 8” returned to TLC (sans Jon) for a two-part catch-up special in June. The episodes, both titled, “Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10,” featured the youngest six’ birthday celebration.
