Kate Middleton never forgets what her children want.

On Wednesday, Middleton and Prince William visited Sunderland together. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were invited to officially open the music and art hub at the Fire Station.

During their visit, Middleton got a henna tattoo. She also asked for a pack of bindis for Princess Charlotte who loves it.

Bindis are worn at the center of the forehead by Hindu and Jain women. It is commonly used to show that a woman is already married. In Hindu religion, it is considered as the "third eye" and is believed to ward off bad luck.

Earlier this year, Middleton captured and shared two adorable photos of Princess Charlotte for her first day of school portrait. Many immediately noticed that 2-year-old's resemblance to Queen Elizabeth II. The monarch and the little princess have the same striking eye structure, blue eyes, arched eyebrows and hair color.

Princess Charlotte is the youngest child of Prince William and Middleton. But she will be a big sister soon as the couple is expecting their child together.

Princess Charlotte is not anxious about the upcoming addition to the family. In fact, she is reportedly excited to welcome her new sibling.

"William and Kate like to keep Charlotte involved and part of the excitement around having a new sibling," an insider said. "She's very aware she's going to have a new baby brother or sister."

The source added that Princess Charlotte has been preparing to be a big sister already. She plays with her dolls and pretends that they are babies. "So I think she is probably expecting the new brother or sister will be the same game — but in real life," the insider added.

Middleton's youngest appeared mature than her age. Earlier this year, Queen Elizabeth II revealed that Princess Charlotte bossed around her 4-year-old big brother Prince George.

Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte is reportedly doing great in her nursery class too. One insider said that she was "very sweet and very confident — she's always chatting away." The source also praised the little princess' attitude for being so polite, but also fun and energetic."

"She has beautiful manners," the source said.
