  • Kate Middleton is, now, a fully-fledged senior royal
  • Prince William's wife is, reportedly, more confident now
  • Queen Elizabeth is a fan of Kate Middleton
  • The Duchess of Cambridge is called an "ideal" queen-to-be

Kate Middleton remains to be one of the most popular members of the royal family. Since she tied the knot with Prince William on April 29, 2011, Kate’s life changed big time. The Cambridge couple was, also, hounded with numerous issues and controversies -- ranging from feud reports, health scare to divorce rumors.

Nine years since she became an official member of the royal clan, reports have it that Kate has become a more vital personality in the British monarchy. One royal aide even claimed, as per YOU Magazine, that the mom of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis has been named as the “ideal” queen-to-be.

“What people are seeing is a self-assured, driven woman with a purpose. She knows exactly where she’s going and she has the self-belief to get there under her own steam,” a source told the South Africa-based publication. “She’s no longer the ‘commoner’ who married a prince, but the future queen and the mother of the future king [and] who’s loved by Queen Elizabeth, staff and the public,” it went on.

In April 2019, body language expert Judi James said, during a “Pod Save the Queen” podcast episode, that Kate Middleton has improved her self-confidence with the help of Meghan Markle. She told podcast hosts Ann Gripper and Russell Meyers that the wife of Prince William appears to have become more “dominant and matriarchal” amid the rumors that Queen Elizabeth is planning to step down and pass on the crown to her heirs.

“I don’t see Camilla ever wanting to take up the reins of being that matriarchal figure,” Judi said. “I think she’d probably do anything to avoid that, so it’s fallen to Kate to a certain extent and she’s working it really, really well,” she continued.

Another royal source revealed, in Nov. 2019, that Queen Elizabeth is a fan of Kate Middleton’s “unflappable” attitude even if the two royal women do not have an “intimate relationship” with each other. “The Queen is a fan,” the insider told Vanity Fair. “Kate is unflappable. Her mantra is very like the Queen’s keep calm and carry on approach in life, and she has the added benefit of making the Royal Family seem almost normal and in touch,” it went on.

Meanwhile, in 2020, Kate Middleton is expected to continue working with young people in the United Kingdom. The mom of three decided to focus more on the causes that cater the youth’s needs. She also rallies the importance of positive and healthy early childhood.
