Kate Middleton has transformed from being a nervous duchess to a confident royal after being a member of the firm for 10 years.

In this week's episode of Us Weekly's "Hot Hollywood" podcast, the hosts discussed the Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge's closed-door meetings about the latter's future in the royal family. According to an unnamed source, Middleton has proven herself trustworthy to the Queen.

"Over time, Kate has proved to the queen that she can be trusted and they developed a great relationship," the insider told the outlet. "Kate has become a fearless public figure and knows protocols like the back of her hand, Elizabeth feels confident that Kate will make a great queen."

The insider went on and stressed that it wasn't the case when the duchess was still new to the firm.

"During her early days as a Royal, Kate felt nervous around Elizabeth, she was desperate to impress. Kate always believed in herself and feel she has developed the wisdom, courage and strength to be a success," the tipster added.

A different source also spoke with the same outlet in a separate interview and complimented Middleton for stepping up. The tipster said Queen Elizabeth II considers Middleton as a "safe pair of hands."

"She’s been a member of the royal family for 10 years now. … I think given that all that’s going on in the past few years in the royal family in terms of the fallouts. … The queen has great trust in Kate," the source said.

Prince William and Middleton tied the knot in April 2011. They celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in April.

Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the world premiere of "No Time to Die." Middleton wowed the crowed in her sequined gold gown with a cape.

Royal pundit Lady Colin Campbell, author of "Diana in Private" and "Meghan and Harry: The Real Story," also praised the Duchess of Cambridge for her look at the event. According to Campbell, Middleton's stunning appearance at the premiere showed what "true stardom is really all about." Meanwhile, she seemingly mocked Meghan Markle saying the Duchess of Sussex lacks the "natural ability" and "inner glow," which is why she was never a star.
