Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle can and should overcome their differences, claims a relationship expert.

Sheela Mackintosh-Stewart, a matrimonial and family consultant, told Express that issues between in-laws are commonplace and tend to build up over time. However, trying to overcome them for the sake of their wider family unit, particularly since they belong to the royal family, should be done.

For the past couple of months, the two Duchesses have been pitted against each other. Rumors about an alleged feud between them have also been ripe. In one instance, it was claimed that Markle made Middleton cry during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid’s dress fitting.

Another source claimed that Middleton confronted Markle over the way she was treating the members of the royal staff. Kensington Palace refused to release a statement regarding the alleged feud, but they previously denied that the two women were at odds with each other.

On Christmas Day, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex also silenced feud rumors when they attended the church service at St. Mary Magdalene together. However, this doesn’t mean that they have already patched things up because the two female royals couldn’t be more different from each other.

“Rifts can often be attributed to a clash of racial cultures and understandings, as well as personality differences. These issues are made worse by misunderstandings and misinterpretations, which cause tensions to grow and evolve into wider resentment,” the expert said.

In related news, Middleton and Markle also made headlines this week for entirely different reasons. The mom of three recently shared her struggles with motherhood since she’s raising Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis who are just a few years apart from each other.

Markle, on the other hand, once again became the talk of the town due to her growing baby bump. Bookies and royal fans are convinced that she will give birth much sooner than the end of April or beginning of May because her baby bump seems huge.
