Camilla Parker Bowles attended two engagements without Prince Charles after missing Princess Eugenie's royal wedding.

The Duchess of Cornwall is really busy. According to Alice Scarsi, a journalist for Express, Camilla attended two royal engagements without Prince Charles after she skipped Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's big day.

On Wednesday, Camilla made a solo engagement in the fancy London borough of Westminster for the 150th anniversary of the Royal Commonwealth Society. The duchess was welcomed by Ghanaian drummers who were "playing drums from Gambia, Nigeria and Ghana, the three countries which the Duchess will visit next month with the Prince of Wales," Clarence House wrote.

During the said outing, Camilla met the guests at The RCS London who were doing fantastic works in the area of gender and human rights, literacy and environmental conservation. She also delivered a speech to mark the celebration.

"You have championed human rights, democracy, and sustainable development across 53 member states," Camilla said. "You have much of which to be greatly proud."

On Tuesday, Camilla attended a black-tie ceremony at London's medieval Guildhall. She presented the Man Booker Prize for Fiction 2018 award to British writer Anna Burns.

Camilla didn't make it to Princess Eugenie's big day. There were speculations that she skipped it due to her rift with the bride's parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. An insider alleged that she already knew Princess Eugenie's wedding date but still pushed through with her party.

"The truth is that Camilla has a house party for a few friends," the source told The Telegraph. "They are arriving on Friday and will be there over the weekend. The date of the wedding was known eight months ago so it’s strange Camilla organised her house party this weekend."

Previous reports claimed that Ferguson and Camilla fought over Princess Diana when they visited Queen Elizabeth II in Balmoral this summer. Their beef was reportedly due to their different roles in the late Princess of Wales' life. The Duchess of York is one of Princess Diana's closest friends and the Duchess of Cornwall her rival to Prince Charles' heart.

However, according to other sources, the royals don't have a rift and insisted that Camilla's schedule was set prior to Princess Eugenie's wedding date. "They get on very well, the couple has no issue with it - they have known about the diary clash for some time," an insider said.
