Prince William and Kate Middleton have seemingly wanted to have a big family. As such, there are ongoing rumors suggesting that the Duchess of Cambridge could have another child in the coming months.

But on the online forum site Quora, some royal fans are convinced that Middleton won’t have another baby with her husband. After all, she could be at a greater risk since she will soon turn 38 years old.

Carlet Langford, a power engineer, said that she would be surprised if a fourth pregnancy announcement will be made soon.

“I’d be surprised if she would want to put herself through that again, and age coupled with her history of difficult pregnancies may make carrying another child to term and giving birth a risky proposition for her and the child. Being that she is almost 38 years old, age would only complicate or make her conditions worse. I’d think the idea of her having another child would be unappealing at best and could be dangerous,” she said.

Langford also said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge don’t have any reason to have more children since they have already been blessed with two boys and a girl. Prince George is slated to become King one day, and Princess Charlotte could also take over the throne if her older brother decides to abdicate.

“There is no need to have another child for that purpose, she has fulfilled her duty to the Crown. And she has one child of each gender—her family is complete as far a gender representation is concerned. Most folks want to have a mix of boys and girls and she has that,” she said.

Other royal fans said that there’s no way for them to know if Prince William and Middleton will have a fourth child. After all, this decision is very personal and the public will never have any influence on it.
