She has made no announcement to suggest she’d be welcoming a fourth child in 2019, but that hasn’t stopped royal fans from continuing to place odds that Kate Middleton and Prince William will be announcing the arrival of a fourth child together before 2019 comes to an end.

The latest odds from bookies average at a chance of 5/2 that the Duchess of Cambridge would be announcing a fourth pregnancy in 2019, with Ladbrokes revealing additional odds of 8/1 that Middleton could actually give birth to a fourth child before the year comes to a close.

“2019 may be Harry and Meghan’s year on the baby front but the latest odds suggest Kate isn’t far behind with baby number four possibly on the way,” Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told Express UK.

It has been widely speculated for some time that Middleton would want to give her other children, Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 8 months, another sibling so as to follow in the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth II, who also had four children. While she has never said anything about wanting to emulate the Queen’s own history with the same number of kids, a source previously told the website that the Duchess of Cambridge had always wanted “at least three” children because of her own upbringing.

While the world waits to see if the royal couple will, in fact, announce plans to have a fourth child together, there is still a new baby on the way for the royal family. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s own child, their first, is expected to arrive early this year.
