Kate Middleton and Prince William revisited their wedding venue weeks before their 10th wedding anniversary for a special reason.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge returned to Westminster Abbey in London Tuesday where they exchanged "I dos" almost 10 years ago. Prince William and Middleton visited the place to tour a new COVID-19 vaccination center that has been established there, Us Weekly reported.

The royal couple honored the staff members and volunteers at the location who are helping vaccinate the public against the virus. The Cambridges also participated in a commemorative movement for the over 125,000 Brits who passed away due to the coronavirus.

The Westminster Abbey clinic opened earlier this month and with the new vaccination center in place, it is set to administer up to 2,000 shots per week. It will remain open for a daily Holy Communion service as well. Kensington Palace shared photos of Prince William and Middleton during the visit on Twitter.

"Since March, Westminster Abbey has been providing up to two thousand life-saving jabs each week to local Westminster residents. Today The Duke and Duchess visited @wabbey to hear from staff about their experiences of being involved in the largest ever UK vaccination programme," the palace announced.

"At Westminster Abbey The Duke and Duchess heard from staff about their experiences of being involved in the largest ever UK vaccination programme, and of working out of such an iconic venue. They also met a number of people receiving their vaccine today," the palace added in a subsequent post.

Prince William and Middleton's pictures during their visit to their wedding venue warmed the hearts of their fans who were thankful for their efforts on behalf of the monarchy. They thanked the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for all of their contributions to society.

"Love seeing you guys out and about. You make me proud to be British," one commented.

"Working so hard for the country," another added with folded hands emoji.

"Thank you. We appreciate you," a third user wrote.

"Thanks to TRHs for their support, duty of care [red heart emoji] and visit to the Abbey today," @AuthorElizabet2 added.

Prince William and Middleton will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary on April 29.
