Kate Middleton is more popular than Meghan Markle in royal family ranking.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex are often pitted against each other based on their fashion and royal engagements. However, one of them outranks the other from time to time.

YouGov carried out a poll where the royal family members were ranked in terms of popularity. Middleton ranked fourth after Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Harry, and Prince William, respectively, Express first reported.

Middleton received 64 percent positive opinion, 10 percent negative and 22 percent neutral. The royal mom of three was particularly popular among women, with 74 percent giving her favorable feedback. However, she ranked lower among men at 54 percent but still the fourth most-popular royal family member for them.

On the other hand, Markle was on the sixth spot. She scored 49 percent positive opinion, 16 percent negative and 28 percent neutral. She scored slightly lower than her sister-in-law in the fame rating. However, she outranked the other established members of the British royal family including Prince Charles, Princess Anne; Sophie, Countess of Wessex; Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Edward, Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Middleton is also always on top of Markle when it comes to their height. The Duchess of Sussex stands 5 feet and 6 inches tall, which makes her taller than the average British woman. However, Middleton is three inches taller.

Between the two duchesses, Middleton lost her pregnancy weight quickly. Many believed that it was because the Duchess of Cambridge also didn’t gain too much weight as she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. Also, Middleton is naturally slender. This could be due to her genes and active lifestyle.

However, Middleton is inferior to Markle when it comes to language proficiency. Markle mastered Spanish after a six-week internship at the American embassy in Buenos Aires and a six-week course in Madrid.

Middleton learned Arabic when she was a kid while her family was living in Jordan. She also studied Italian at the British Institute in Florence during her gap year. However, over the years, she became less proficient in the two languages.
