Kate Middleton’s photo when she tumbled at a roller disco resurfaced and netizens slammed the royal because of it.

Middleton used to go to clubs and was reportedly fond of partying. Throwback photos of the Duchess of Cambridge when she tumbled at the roller disco have resurfaced on Twitter, and one of them garnered mixed reactions from the royal followers.

In the pictures, Middleton can be seen wearing a green sequined top and yellow shorts. In one snap, Prince William’s wife can be seen lying on the floor. In another snap, she is trying to get up by using her left arm as support.

“Kate and her charity work. She’s such a shining example of Royalty, isn’t she? Our #MeghanMarkle has much to learn from her,” the netizen who shared the photos wrote sarcastically.

A different user commented that Markle should copy and tumble like Middleton.

“What a vulgar display,” one opined.

“Disgusting,” another wrote.

Meanwhile, a different user attacked Middleton and her sister, Pippa. The netizen said that Middleton and Pippa were called “wisteria sisters” because they love to climb, suggesting that the Middletons are social climbers.

“Skiing and clubbing and pretending to be rich to catch Royalty,” one user commented.

Royal commentator Elaine Lui said that the Duchess of Cambridge is a social climber just like her sister-in-law Meghan Markle. Lui pointed out that Middleton was not supposed to study in St. Andrews University and just enrolled there when she learned that Prince William would be attending the university. She also pointed out how Middleton became close friends with the future king’s circle after they started dating.

“There she got her way into Prince William’s circle – that’s also what we would call social climbing and networking,” Lui explained. “Then she became his girlfriend and you don’t hear about Kate Middleton hanging out with any of her old friends. They only hang out with royal people, like aristocrats. That’s what royal people do.”

However, Markle outranked Middleton when it comes to social climbing skills. The Duchess of Sussex tops Tatler’s social climber list.
