Kate Middleton just wore her “most daring look to date” at her most recent royal engagement.

The Duchess of Cambridge got tongues wagging when she stepped out to attend a gala dinner to raise awareness about the horrors of addiction in an off-the-shoulder dress. Erin Hill, the senior news editor at People magazine, considered Middleton’s get up her “most daring look to date.”

“She first wore this in 2016, to an event at the Natural History Museum,” Erin told People. “It is one of her most daring looks to date. The shoulder bearing, it is a little sexy for her. We often see her in a lot of coat dresses, she is modelling herself after the Queen now.”

Erin added that it’s nice to see Middleton breaking these pieces out of the closet. Thus, for the duchess wearing that style is already daring.

Middleton paired her look with a silver embellished Jimmy Choo heels. Hill recalled that when Middleton wore the same dress three years ago, she paired it with nude strappy heels which were “less dramatic.” Her most recent choice of footwear complemented her outfit well and looked really amazing on her.

Middleton’s secret to wearing heels all day has been revealed and it’s Alice Bow. The brand produces leather insoles that offer women comfort while wearing their favorite footwear.

Middleton’s fashion has changed following her maternity leave after delivering Prince Louis. Many notice that the duchess has made “unexpected twist” in her outfits with bolder colors and brighter ensembles which suggest an “edgier Kate,” the future queen consort.

According to Kaitlin Menza, co-host of the Royally Obsessed podcast, Middleton appeared like she was in a more take-charge position. She added that considering Middleton’s outfits, she was beginning to see the person who is going be the queen.

Middleton and Markle both made their most iconic fashion moment earlier this year. Middleton brought a staggering 119 percent increase in outfit sales when she wore an elegant red Catherine Walker coat dress at the Commonwealth Service on Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey.

However, Middleton’s sister-in-law, Meghan Markle has overtaken her as the most influential person in the fashion industry. Markle’s stylish silver and gold brocade dress at the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles’ investiture at Buckingham Palace triggered a 500 percent rise in online demand for brocade dresses.
