Kate Middleton donned new bling at the recent royal family’s public reunion.

On Saturday, the royal family reunited for Trooping the Colour. A number noticed that Middleton was wearing a necklace that seemed to be a new item in her collection, Hello! first reported.

The necklace features a cross pendant on the chain and sat perfectly in the V neckline of her Alexander McQueen yellow coat dress. The Duchess of Cambridge owns a similar piece of jewelry and has been wearing it on a number of occasions in 2011, but this one features an extra diamond fixing and has a slightly different chain.

“I think it’s a new cross. Larger,” Emily Miller wrote on Twitter.

“Trying to see if Kate is wearing this cross necklace she wore a lot in 2011, especially on the Canadian tour, but I think they are different. New one looks like the chain goes through a piece atop the cross, rather than through the cross itself like this one,” another user wrote.

For the same event, Middleton’s sister-in-law Meghan Markle also showed off a new accessory. The Duchess of Sussex was photographed with a new diamond band which was thought to be a push present from Prince Harry following baby Archie’s birth.

Middleton, Markle, Prince Harry and Camilla Parker Bowles shared a carriage ride during the Trooping the Colour parade. This isn’t new to the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Cornwall who have always shared a ride since 2011.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been rumored to have a falling-out. But in the recent event, they appeared to be amicable.

But according to body language expert Judi James, the royals had a “tense” ride. Middleton was also showing signs of tension based on her slightly self-diminished posture. The Duchess of Cambridge was also seen with her arms pulled into her sides and her hands clasped in her lap.

Another insider also revealed that despite the friendly demeanor of the fab four, they were reportedly making a shocking showdown at the event. In fact, when they were away from the cameras, Prince Harry and Markle barely speak to Prince William and Middleton.
