Kate Middleton has been busy practicing her photography skills lately, and most recently, Middleton spent some time with children to learn about, not just photography, but different creative art forms. On Tuesday, something adorable happened with the Duchess of Cambridge and a 10-year-old boy.

The 10-year-old boy is Luke Wheeler-Waddison, a heart patient who was making art with a workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery’s Hospital Program that Middleton was participating in. Upon meeting Middleton, Wheeler-Waddison presented her with a “rag wreath” and took a picture of her with a Polaroid camera,Peoplereports.

Other photos were taken of the exchange, showing Middleton sporting a huge smile while wearing the “rag wreath,” a gift she said would be perfect for Princess Charlotte’s bedroom, and Wheeler-Waddison happily taking her photo. A picture was taken of the boy holding up his prized Polaroid of Middleton.

The official photographs of the event were posted to the Kensington Royal Instagram page. The photos show Middleton helping the children with their arts and crafts projects, such as 3D set design, illustration, and, of course, photography.

When it comes to Middleton’s hobbies, photography and caring for children in need are at the top of the list. This event, along with her most recent venture with the royal exhibit involving holocaust survivors posed with their grandkids and their most prized possessions, allowed Middleton to express her love of the arts. While at the University of St. Andrew, Middleton studied art history. It was there that she garnered up an appreciation for photography and became an amateur photographer.
