Katherine Heigl’s legal drama series, “Doubt,” may have been canceled by CBS, but the network just announced that they will release all 11 unaired episodes of the show starting next month.

“Doubt” executive producer Tony Phelan confirmed the news via his Twitter account and said that the episodes will air every Saturday, starting July 1 at 8 p.m. EDT.

According to TV Line, “Doubt” was pulled out by the network earlier this year just after two episodes. Both installments received very low ratings, with the premiere receiving only 5.3 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating. “Doubt” even ranked below “Code Black,” a medical drama series starring Marcia Gay Harden. CBS picked up the latter drama for a third season.

On its second week, the number of viewers and the demo rating dropped 25 percent compared to its first week. More specifically, “Doubt” garnered only four million viewers and a 0.6 rating. Since then, the heads of CBS have decided to not push through with the series that also stars Laverne Cox and Dule Hill.

Luckily for fans, CBS found an opening in their summer schedule to cater to “Doubt.” In March, the network announced their summer lineup (via The Hollywood Reporter), which includes the new season of “Big Brother.” The network will also launch a new suspense thriller, titled “Salvation,” starting July 12 at 9 p.m. EDT. Game show “Candy Crush” will premiere on July 9 at 9 p.m. EDT.

CBS’ sole returning summer scripted drama, “Zoo,” will now air every Thursday starting June 29 at 10 p.m. EDT. Reruns of “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Criminal Minds” are also part of the network’s current lineup. The former will air every Sunday at 10 p.m., and the latter will air every Wednesday at 10 p.m. EDT.

At the time, CBS has not made a decision yet on “Doubt,” but based on their summer schedule, the network only has shows airing on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

“Doubt” follows the life of a successful defense lawyer working at a boutique firm, who becomes romantically involved with a client who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime. The series also stars Kobi Libii, Dreama Walker, Lauren Blumenfeld and more.
