CBS just announced the official premiere date for “Scorpion” Season 4, and it will be on Monday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. EDT.

However, the Elyes Gabel-starrer will immediately go on a long hiatus and will return with Season 4, episode 2 on Oct. 30. In the premiere episode, Happy (Jadyn Wong) and Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) will still be adjusting to their new life as a married couple.

While speaking with TV Line, executive producer Nick Santora previously dished on what fans can expect from the two characters in the upcoming episodes. “Like all things, the answers can be found in elementary school: First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes something in a baby carriage,” he said.

Even though Happy and Toby having a child is not something they will immediately explore, Santora said that it’s the natural progression for the couple. “One of my favorite speeches of the season was when Happy said she always wanted to wait outside the school for her kids. She still wants that, and Toby wants that,” he said.

If Happy and Toby having a baby in Season 4 is a possibility, another thing fans can expect is a development with regards to Walter (Gabel) and Paige’s (Katharine McPhee) relationship. In the last few episodes of Season 3, Paige and Walter finally confessed their feelings for each other.

Following the episode, Gabel told Entertainment Weekly that Paige and Walter finally discussing their feelings seemed to him like the beginning of an even bigger story. “It feels like the circle is finally a circle, in a way. Not to become totally spiritual about it, but it feels like this was the place that we wanted to go. It’s the conclusion of one part of the story, and it definitely opens up the opportunity for another story to be born as well,” he said.

Likewise, McPhee is looking forward to how Paige and Walter will deal with their new relationship dynamic. After all, the latter has difficulty expressing his emotions. The other members of Team Scorpion would also have to adjust to Paige and Walter being all over each other in the upcoming episodes.
