Is Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s romantic relationship doomed? This is what a new tabloid report claims. The singer’s friends are reportedly afraid that she might break up with the actor because of the latter’s excessive “partying.”

Celebrity tabloid magazine Star claimed in its latest issue that Perry’s pals think her relationship with the Hollywood actor, particularly their engagement, is likely to end because of Bloom’s “partying.”

According to the tabloid’s supposed source, Katy’s friends think she didn’t think her decision to get engaged with Orlando through. They were said to be worried that the singer-songwriter would have enough of Bloom’s “partying” since she’s already committed to a “sober lifestyle.”

Gossip Cop has since debunked Star magazine’s report. The fact-checking outlet reached out to a reliable source close to Perry who outright denied the story and said it’s completely “false.”

The identities of Perry’s so-called friends were also not disclosed. It’s important to note that many of her Hollywood pals actually expressed happiness after learning about her engagement. Gwen Stefani, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessie J, Kate Hudson and Halle Berry were all so happy of the imminent nuptials between Katy and Orlando.

The news comes days after the “Lord of the Rings” actor was spotted in Brentwood, LA as he drove a bike to grab a solo lunch in the area. He was wearing a drawstring bag during the outing and it was later on found out that Bloom was carrying his pet dog, Mighty, in the bag.

Perry and Bloom got engaged last month. The “Swish Swish” hitmaker revealed their relationship milestone a day after Valentine’s Day by posting a photo that showcased her huge engagement ring.

After their announcement, rumors claimed that the two were having a “shotgun wedding” because Katy is allegedly pregnant. An insider was recently quoted by National Enquirer as saying that the two stars have a secret plan to swap vows and this was purportedly hinted by the actor himself.

However, the rumors were also proven to be false. Katy is not at all pregnant because the singer has been drinking some alcohol lately. When she made a guest appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” she even said that she’s “so hungover” following the Oscars after-parties.

Furthermore, the couple isn’t rushing into things. They are taking their time and enjoying their engagement as much as possible. An insider told People that they are “busy enjoying and celebrating their engagement” for now.
