Scott Disick returns to E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," creating quite a stir. The father of three was not physically seen during the show, but worries Khloé Kardashian and the rest of the family when he tells the "Strong Looks Better Naked" author he's ready to give up on life.

Kim Kardashian is shown sitting with sister Kylie Jenner at Kris' Jenner's home having a casual conversation when they're interrupted by a phone call from Khloé. Kim, 35, picks up and quickly learns that her sister is not looking to chitchat. Khloé, 31, is on the phone with Scott, 32, after getting a frightening text message from him. During the phone call Scott is heard telling Khloé he wants to give up on life. He mumbles throughout the call as Kim and Kris, 60, attempt to track him down to alert the police. Scott tells Khloé that Kourtney Kardashian, who was away in Montana with friends at the time, was the love of his life, adding that he had never met anyone more beautiful. In the meantime Kris gets hold of Scott's close friend Chris, who is able to force his way into Scott's room, calming the situation.

While Scott's suicide scare was a main focus of the episode it was not the only noteworthy moment. In fact, a majority of the episode focused on the health of the Kardashian and Jenner women. At the opening of episode 9 Kris can be heard discussing an exciting new medical technology that can predict the likelihood of contracting certain cancers. Kris wants to get the testing for her and her family because of her mother's battle with cancer and her first husband's. She reveals that the testing will take place during a group photo shoot the ladies have agreed to do and urges everyone to get on board. Kim and Kourtney, 36, agree, but Khloé is reluctant for a whole host of reasons her mother and siblings do not understand. Kris continues to push, forcing Khloé to admit that she simply does not want to live her life knowing what's coming down the pipeline. After a phone call from Kim, however, she has a change of heart.

The ladies, sans Kourtney, drive down to San Diego to get their results. Upon arriving they are greeted by Dr. Paul Nassif, a prominent plastic surgeon who has agreed to help translate their test results for them. At the meeting they learn that they have all tested negative for the dangerous genes.

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on E!
