“All the Money in the World” director Ridley Scott cannot deny that Kevin Spacey did a fantastic job in the J. Paul Getty biopic, but after the actor’s sexual assault allegations came out, he was forced to replace him just so the movie can still come out.

Scott’s decision paid off, because the movie was hailed as a success. His replacement, Christopher Plummer, even received a Golden Globe nomination for his role.

But amidst all the drama, Scott said he has not heard a peep from Spacey. “I don’t know where he is,” Scott told The Associated Press. “It would have been nice to have some kind of call, even if it was from his (Spacey’s) representative.”

Scott and his team re-shot all of Spacey’s scenes within a span of nine days. The filmmaker confessed that he did not reach out to Spacey as well, since he would have been hard-pressed for anything to say.

“I wouldn’t know what I’d say to him,” Scott told the New York Daily News. “I’d be speechless for the first time in my life.”

He still has the final cut of the version of “All the Money in the World” featuring Spacey, but Scott said that version will never be released.

“Over my dead body. No,” Ridley said. “I don’t think that would be very graceful. There’s a great word called grace, right? So I wouldn’t do that, no.”

It was “Star Trek: Discovery” star Anthony Rapp who first accused Spacey of sexual assault dating back to 1986. After, several crew members of “House of Cards” also came forward and confessed that they were victimized by Spacey’s “predatory” behavior.

A former production assistant told CNN that Spacey sexually assaulted him during one of the show’s early seasons. The employee claimed that Spacey put his hands down his pants without consent while he was driving the actor to the set. Later, Spacey cornered him and touched him inappropriately.

“I told him, ‘I don't think I'm ok with this, I don’t think I’m comfortable with this,’” the production assistant said. That’s when Spacey became “visibly flustered,” fled the trailer, and got in his car.
