South Korean singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong will hold his first meeting on April 29 after being discharged from the military last Saturday following 21 months of service, reports said.

“2017 KIM HYUN JOONG FAN MEETING: ANEMONE” was announced by KeyEast Entertainment to show the former SS501 leader’s gratitude toward his fans. “We have decided to present the meaningful event for those who have believed and waited for Kim during his time in the military,” KeyEast Entertainment said, according to Hellokpop.

The event will take place at Seoul Olympic Park’s Olympic Hall, which has hosted a number of K-pop bigwigs like BTS (Bangtan Boys), F.T. Island, Super Junior and f(x). This will be Kim’s first fan meeting in four years, the last reportedly being a 2013 fan meet-and-greet.

The singer uploaded a special video with a message for his fans on being discharged from the military last Saturday. Titled “The Letter,” the video consisted of photos from his military discharge along with a handwritten letter.

“I thought it’s hard to cheer on Kim Hyun Joong as before. Maybe I should hide,” the singer reportedly wrote. “I will give my best to repay those who have trusted me, because I came out stronger than you think.”

While talking to the media after finishing his time in the army, the “Playful Kiss” actor had indicated that he would take out time for his fans soon. Kim added at the time: “The very first thing I need to do is meet my parents. I met them while I was on leave, but I want to greet them formally after being discharged. I can’t give any details about plans for activities, but I think I will greet fans soon.”

Kim’s fans are in for a treat as reports say that special gifts will be handed out during the fan meeting, along with an opportunity to be a part of a handshake session following the event.
