As many "Kingdom Hearts 3" players will notice, Sora’s movement can be a bit stiff and slow to control, which makes players extremely vulnerable to enemy attacks. However, those weaknesses could easily be removed with the right usage of his moves. Here’s how to fight faster in "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Keep Dodging and Blocking

While defensive tools seem to be a boring pick for a brawl, it does save a lot of health when performed correctly. These tools work separately from the attack moves and can be used while Sora has finished a swing. To survive, try dodging as soon as you feel that an enemy’s attack is incoming. Regardless if the enemy does an attack or not, you’re able to create some space and allow yourself to run again to avoid many attacks. This mindset doesn’t just make Sora move faster in battles but also makes him a difficult target to hit for many bosses. Make sure to know when dodging and blocking are not viable moves and you’ll be fine with this trick.

Use Shortcuts

For new players, playing actively and selecting attacks from a menu could take some time to get used to. However, "Kingdom Hearts 3" provides players with three shortcut sets from the get-go and all of them have four slots. With this feature, players can register spells, items and other abilities for quick use. Moreover, some spells like Fire can be used in rapid succession which can be difficult to do when browsing through menus to use them. Lastly, restoratives like the Cure spell and Potions can be registered in the shortcuts so you won’t have to fumble for healing when Sora’s low on health.

Use All Interactables And Special Attacks

Once the player is able to keep up a steady momentum of attacks against foes, the "Kingdom Hearts 3" system rewards them with many special attacks that can be used to deal massive area damage and other helpful buffs. Moreover, some areas would have a faint white glow which means they can be interacted for a unique attack.

To make sure these attacks always come out, just keeping hitting and spamming spells until it comes out. Once it does, keep using it on the healthy enemies first to knock them out of battle immediately. Most of early Kingdom Hearts 3’s generic monster battles are solvable with this strategy but may fall flat on specific bosses that have difficult patterns and just more faster than Sora.
