Kylie Jenner has been named Forbes’ highest-paid celebrity of the year 2020. Her earnings for the year are estimated at $590 million.

According to the Forbes report, the top-earning celebs in the world garnered combined earnings of $ 6.1 billion, this year. The Kylie Cosmetics founder, who was named the world’s youngest self-made billionaire in 2019, has topped the list and is the only woman on the top 10 highest-earning celebs' list.

She is followed by American rapper Kanye West, who has earned $170 million in the year 2020. The financial experts at the outlet reveal that most of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star’s earnings are attributed to 51 percent shares of her cosmetic line that she sold to Coty in January.

“While she had exaggerated over the years about the size of her business, the money she pulled in from the deal was real--enough to rank as one of the biggest celebrity cashouts of all time,” the report read.

As for West, most of his earnings were a part of his Yeezy sneakers deal with Adidas. Jenner and West beat professional athletes, Roger Federer, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi who have taken third, fourth, and fifth places, respectively. The tennis star’s earnings for the year are reportedly $106.3 million. Meanwhile, the two soccer stars have collected $105 million and $104 million, respectively.

Writer-producer Tyler Perry, soccer player Neymar, television personality Howard Stern, basketball star LeBron James, and movie star Dwayne Johnson made it to the list, acquiring spots from six to 10 of the Forbes list.

In addition, Naomi Osaka, the 23-year-old tennis player, set a record for “most money any female athlete has ever made in a single year.” The Japanese player is ranked no. 90 on the list with an income of $37 million.

Among others, there is Ellen DeGeneres at no. 12, Ariana Grande at no. 17, followed by Ryan Reynolds at no. 18. Jonas Brothers also made it to the top 20 celebrities on the list. Among the musicians, there is Ed Sheeran at no. 23 and Taylor Swift at no. 25. Meanwhile, the K-pop group BTS ranked no. 47 with a $50 million income.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, stars’ earnings were heavily impacted and dropped by $200 million.
