  • Jenner addressed the report questioning her billionaire status on Twitter
  • The realiy star's lawyer also released a statement to address the allegation

Kylie Jenner responded to Forbes' claims that she lied about money and that she is no longer a billionaire.

Jenner is considered one of the youngest billionaires. However, based on a recent report from Forbes, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is no longer a billionaire.

The publication reportedly received new information about Jenner and how COVID-19 impacted beauty stocks and consumer spending, which affected the reality star’s finances.

“Forbes now thinks that Kylie Jenner, even after pocketing an estimated $340 million after taxes from the sale, is not a billionaire,” the report read.

Forbes also alleged that Jenner’s business was never big to begin with and the Jenners only lied about it since 2016. In November, Coty acquired Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics.

When the beauty giant released its filings publicly, it revealed that Jenner’s business is “significantly smaller, and less profitable than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe.”

Forbes admitted that it couldn’t prove if Jenner’s documents were fake. However, it still concluded that “Kylie’s camp has been lying.”

The “Life of Kylie” star took to Twitter to slam the publication.

“What am i even waking up to. i thought this was a reputable site.. all i see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol. i’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period (sic),” Jenner wrote.

In another tweet, Jenner reiterated that she was blessed beyond her years. First, she has a beautiful daughter. Second, she has a successful business. Third, she is doing perfectly fine.

Jenner’s attorney Michael Kump also issued a statement to Us Weekly after the expose to deny the allegations.

“We have reviewed Forbes‘ article accusing Kylie of engaging in deceit and a ‘web of lies’ to inflate her net worth,” the statement read.

“The article is filled with outright lies. Forbes‘ accusation that Kylie and her accountants ‘forged tax returns’ is unequivocally false and we are demanding that Forbes immediately and publicly retract that and other statements. It is sad that, of all things, Forbes has devoted three reporters to investigate the effect of the coronavirus crisis on Kylie’s net worth. We would not expect that from a supermarket tabloid, much less from Forbes.”
