Lady Gaga is one of the few celebrities who openly talk about the health issues plaguing them. The acclaimed singer recently opened up about her struggles to cope with mental health issues.

In an interview with Variety, the 33-year-old musician talked about her struggles with mental health and how those struggles helped her in making her new album “Chromatica.” The “Poker Face” hitmaker noted that the album is really close to her heart because it “symbolizes” the beginning of her journey to healing.

Gaga also shared that she wants to motivate people with her music and hopes to inspire those who are going through a lot while experiencing many mental health issues. She feels it is all about accepting the fact you are having mental health issues.

“I think that the beginning of the album really symbolizes, for me, what I would call the beginning of my journey to healing, and what I would hope would be an inspiration for people that are in need of healing through happiness, through dance. And that’s in what I would call radical acceptance. For example, I know that I have mental issues; I know that they can be sometimes rendering me nonfunctional as a human. But I radically accept that this is real,” Gaga said.

Recently, the “Bad Romance” singer explained that she accepted the changes that she went through while going through such a dark period in her life.

The “Stupid Love” songstress also opened up about the help she received when she went to a doctor and got to know that “fibromyalgia” is curable through therapy.

“I have found through neuropsych research and my relationship with my doctors that fibromyalgia can be treated through mental health therapy. And mental health is a medical condition, it should be treated as a medical condition. It should not be ignored,” Gaga said.

Meanwhile, there have been many reports that the “Paparazzi” singer and Michael Polansky are already engaged and are set to tie the knot this summer.

“It’s going to be a $1 million wedding. She’s ecstatic. It will either take place in California or her hometown, New York City,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.

However, no official confirmation was released about the rumored engagement.
