KEY POINTS

  • Pantheon has a very strong early game but meager late game
  • He can be played in almost every role
  • Pantheon can be built as a tanky damage dealer or as an assassin

Pantheon is a very strong early-game character in “League of Legends: Wild Rift” who can end a match before it even begins. His high damage values at the beginning of the game can shut down the enemy team’s important carries and cause teammates to snowball in lane.

While Pantheon isn’t a complicated champion to use in “Wild Rift,” there are a few things to keep in mind to maximize his potential. Here are some tips and builds for beginners who want to take their Spartan game to the next level.

Laning

Pantheon is one of those champions who can do well in every lane; he can go solo lane, dragon lane, jungle or even support. His strong poke and dueling ability grant lanes plenty of pressure, greatly increasing kill potential.

Solo Pantheon can dominate enemies with weak laning phases like Yasuo or Master Yi but struggles against tanks who can absorb all of his damage.

Support Pantheon works best with an aggressive or high-damage early-game marksman like Draven or Jhin.

Abilities

Pantheon’s first ability, Comet Spear, can either be used as a stab or thrown as a projectile. Its stab form is best used for general combat and poking, while the projectile form is ideal for finishing off enemies who are escaping. Prioritize the stab over the throw when fighting.

His second and third abilities are best used for their utility rather than damage. Pantheon has a point-and-click stun that’s very easy to use, and his third ability blocks all damage from the front, making him a great tower diver.

All of his basic abilities have better effects after getting five stacks of his passive, Mortal Will. Plan accordingly.

Roaming

Regardless of where Pantheon lanes, he should always look for a roam using his ultimate ability. Try to score a kill in lane then try to gank dragon lane. A 3v2 with a ganking Pantheon almost always results in a kill and a free dragon afterward.

Recommended Builds

Pantheon can be built as a tanky bruiser or a high-burst assassin. For beginners, the former is the better option as it facilitates a better learning experience.
