Samsung is reportedly gearing up to release a new mid-range handset dubbed “Galaxy C5,” which is apparently been tied to the model number “SM-C500.”

In addition to the umpteen leaks specific to configurations, the Samsung Galaxy C5’s live photos have surfaced via the credible tipster at NWE. The photos show the handset in every possible angle, giving out key design features.

Going by the leaked photos, this device will come with a shiny metallic body. A dual-tone LED flash can be seen clearly in one of the leaked images. And, in a way, the overall exterior design reminds us of the recently released HTC 10 smartphone.

As far as the rumored Galaxy C5 specifications go, it will reportedly feature a 5.2-inch display, bundled with a Full HD screen resolution. Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 chip will apparently power the handset with an octa-core processor in tow, GSM Arena reported.

Adreno 405 GPU will take care of the graphics side of things, while the entire configuration will be backed by a solid 4 GB of RAM. On the software front, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS will run the handset straight out of the box.

Speaking of release date, Samsung’s “C” series is believed to be unveiled sometime this month. However, there is no official information available to ascertain the release outside the target market China. It is worth noting that in the same “C” lineup, the South Korean tech is also working on the Galaxy C7, which is most probably an upper-mid-range handset.
