Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) is meeting his younger self (Graeme McComb) again in Season 2, episode 5 of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

According to the synopsis for the episode, entitled “Compromised,” Dr. Stein travels back in time to prevent his younger self from creating a major time aberration.

McComb revealed his return to the CW series in an Instagram post he shared seven weeks ago. “Great Scott! He’s back!” the “UnREAL” alum wrote on the social networking site, alongside a photo of his trailer’s door with the label: “Young Martin Stein.”

McComb’s younger version of Dr. Stein first appeared in Season 1, episode 2 of the “Arrow” — “The Flash” offshoot. In the episode, Stein, Jax Jefferson (Franz Drameh) and Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) looked for the young Dr. Stein in 1975 and stole a device he invented to locate a missing piece of Ray Palmer’s (Brandon Routh) exosuit.

In the last day of his guest-starring stint in Season 1 of “Legends of Tomorrow,” McComb took to Instagram to share how happy he was to have the chance to work with Garber. “Last day on #legendsoftomorrow what a pleasure to work with @therealvictorgarber,” he captioned a pic of himself with Garber on the set of the CW series.

Apparently, young Dr. Stein isn’t the only one who is returning in Season 2, episode 5. According to the synopsis, the Legends is going to encounter Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) in the episode again. This time, however, he now works as a senior adviser to U.S. President Ronald Reagan.

The Justice Society of America (JSA) is also going to be featured in the episode. Thinking that the JSA members of that particular time could be of help in taking down Damien, Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) break into the JSA headquarters only to be surprised at what they find.

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2, episode 5 airs Thursday, Nov. 11, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW. Next week’s episode, entitled “Shogun,” airs on Oct. 27 in the same time slot. Check out the synopsis for Season 2, episode 3 below:

“Nate is shocked to learn that he has powers but then accidentally lands himself and Ray in Feudal Japan. After Sara convinces their stowaway Amaya, a.k.a. Vixen, that Rory (Dominic Purcell) is not a murderer, they all agree to find Nate and help him master his powers in order to defend the Japanese village from the Shogun and his army of samurai warriors. Meanwhile, Jax and Stein stay back to help fix the ship and find a secret compartment but decide not to tell the rest of the team what they learn.”
