Another crossover episode is set to take place in CW’s DC TV universe after next week’s much anticipated “The Flash” and “Supergirl” musical.

During the “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow” panel at PaleyFest on Saturday afternoon, “Legends of Tomorrow” and “Arrow” executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that there will be a huge cameo appearance in Season 2, episode 16 of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

“I will call it a surprise crossover,” Deadline quoted Guggenheim as saying. “No one knows this because we’ve kept it under wraps, but there’s a surprise cameo, surprise crossover moment in the penultimate episode of ‘Legends.’”

In addition to the surprise cameo, the exec producer also teased an easter egg in the episode. “I will say there is an easter egg — it’s more than an easter egg, it’s a little bit more obvious than that … that I think fans are really going to love,” Guggenheim said. “And not necessarily fans of comics, but let’s say fans of cartoons.”

In Season 2, episode 16, titled “Doomworld,” the Legion of Doom obtains the Spear of Destiny and rewrites reality, leaving the Legends changed and Mick (Dominic Purcell) the only one who can save the world.

“For the Legends, it’s very different,” Brandon Routh told Entertainment Weekly of the episode. “None of us have our abilities and powers. [My character] Ray is a janitor for S.T.A.R. Labs, and the world is being run by insane crazy people. So, yeah, it’s a bit of the worst nightmare.”

“It’s very scary!” Maisie Richardson-Sellers, who plays Amaya on the show, told Collider. “And with Mick [being the only one who can save the world], I think there’s terrifying for everyone, but Amaya. She really trusts him and sees something in him that she’s willing to fight for. She’s the one who sees the good behind everything he does, so for her, there’s no real question. I think for the other teammates, it’s much more of a struggle to have to put their futures and their lives in the hands of Rory.”

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2, episode 16 airs on Tuesday, March 28 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
