"Forget Me" singer Lewis Capaldi momentarily halted his London concert Wednesday night after a fight broke out in the audience.

The Grammy nominee was halfway through his 2019 single "Hold Me While You Wait" when a commotion suddenly erupted at London's O2 Arena.

The singer held his hands up to his band and said, "They are scrapping in the crowd there. Erm, we are going to have to get them out. We can't be fighting."

A member of the audience shared a video of it on Twitter and wrote, "Fight at Lewis Capaldi concert why was they even fighting can't imagine but I would have been yelling fight fight fight! Bc I love drama always a blast."

The clip shows the security team making their way into the crowd and trying to restrain a seemingly agitated woman. The fight appeared to involve a number of people but the footage showed security officials removing one woman, Manchester Evening News reported. A witness told the outlet that the woman took a swipe at one of the security personnel while refusing to leave the venue.

"What a weird song to fight to. Bizarre, bizarre," Capaldi said after those involved in the fight were removed from the venue, reported Billboard.

He then resumed the concert by singing "Hold Me While You Wait" – a top-five hit on the U.K. singles chart and a cut from his "Divinely Inspired to a Hellish Extent" debut album.

The incident occurred just a few days after another scuffle broke out at Capaldi's concert in Leeds, NME reported. The "Lost on You" singer had to pause halfway through the show to allow security personnel to manage the situation at the First Direct Arena on Monday.

"Can't take the weight of your love? That's the lyric you're sparring to?" Capaldi reportedly said at the time.

Meanwhile, Capaldi's latest single, "Pointless," is currently on top of the U.K. Official Singles Chart, Billboard said.
