Liam Hemsworth Breaks Up With Gabriella Brooks After 3 Years Of Dating

Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks have called it quits. Liam reportedly initiated the split months ago, leaving Brooks "heartbroken."

"He didn't want to be tied down and work has picked up since the pandemic ended," a source told In Touch.

Liam and Brooks have yet to address the alleged breakdown of their three-year relationship. It can be noted, however, that Brooks graced a Versace event in Australia last week without Liam to accompany her. The pair has also not posted any photos of each other on their respective Instagram accounts since early this year.

Rumors linking the Sydney-based model to the "Hunger Games" actor first surfaced in December 2019, when they were spotted dining out with Liam's parents, Craig and Leonie Hemsworth, in Byron Bay, Australia. A photo of Brooks greeting Leonie with a hug before their group lunch made its way online, sparking speculations that she had already hit it off with the Hemsworths.

Speculations grew rife when the pair was once again spotted making out on the beach in Byron Bay, where Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky's family were residing at the time. Photos of the rumored couple sharing lovely kisses while soaking up the sun and sticking close to each other as they ventured into the sea also surfaced and spread like wildfire across the internet at the time, seemingly confirming the romance rumors.

Sightings of the two continued in the first few months of 2020. They were spotted hanging out in Malibu, going out on lunch dates in Beverly Hills and taking beach trips in Australia. As the COVID-19 pandemic picked up its pace in May 2020, Liam confirmed that he had been quarantining with Brooks in Phillip Island, Australia.

"It's just a very mellow area where I grew up," he told People at the time. "It's quiet and it's a beautiful spot. I'm able to see the ocean from my house."

Liam made his relationship with Brooks Instagram-official in November 2020 by posting a black-and-white photo of them attending a "Peaky Blinders"-themed party with the Hemsworths. They went on to make their first official appearance as a couple in June 2021, when they attended Gold Dinner 2021 at Sydney Airport in Australia.

The last time Liam and Brooks were spotted publicly together was in February, when they went on a hike in Byron Bay.
