Actress Lindsay Lohan shocked the onlookers with stained and decaying teeth when she posed on the red carpet at the premiere of THQ's Saints Row: The Third in Los Angeles on Thursday night

The 25-year-old actress appeared like showcasing the after-effects of nicotine, coffee and perhaps red wine through her smile.

The actress, who started her career as a child fashion model, is still a beautiful actress, insisted her spokesperson. The spokesperson refused to offer an explanation for her poor dental health, reported the Daily Mail.

She's been on the cover of Vanity Fair and the top beauty and fashion magazines. She's a beautiful and glamorous actress, Lindsay's representative Steve Honig told the People magazine.

With everything going on - from deteriorating public education to rampant homelessness to international unrest - there is no way I'm going to comment on Lindsay's teeth, added an irritated Honig.

Lindsay has a long history of interruptions in her career and being in the news for wrong reasons. In 2007, she was charged for two driving under the influence (DUI) incidents. Her three visits to rehabilitation facilities led to the loss of several movie deals.

She subsequently entered the Promises Treatment Center rehabilitation facility, where she stayed for 45 days.

In 2007, three weeks before filming was scheduled to resume on Poor Things, she had been arrested for a second DUI and again returned to rehabilitation.

She refused a field sobriety test in Santa Monica and was taken to a police station where her blood alcohol level was found to be above the legal limit. While conducting a search, the police found a small amount of cocaine in her pocket. She was booked on a felony charge of possession of cocaine and misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

On Feb 9, 2011, Lohan was charged with the theft of a necklace reported stolen from a jewelry store in January. She was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service for misdemeanor theft and probation violation.

Lindsay Lohan made her motion picture debut in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap at the age of 11. She gained fame between 2003 and 2005 with her lead roles in the films like Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded.
