Astronomia, a luxury watch inspired by the world's biggest cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC), is now on sale with a hefty price tag of $396,577.

According to BeInCrypto, the watch from Jacob & Co watchmakers has a rotating Bitcoin logo followed by a yellow sapphire sun, a diamond moon and a golden Earth. Furthermore, there is also a black rocket ship with flaming jets, which the creators claim signifies that crypto "is going to the moon."

"All these symbols tell the story of the advent of the first cryptocurrency, from abstraction to reality, from outlier to a mainstay of the financial system," said Jacob & Co watchmakers.

Out of the two rotating platforms, the first one is made up of the arms and other pieces while the second platform is a microchip-designed main plate followed by a rotating backdrop that resembles the brain of BTC creator Satoshi Nakamoto.

Additionally, the rotating platform completes one rotation in 10 minutes which is the time that an investor should wait before checking the price of BTC, claim the creators of the watch.

The watch is surrounded by a sapphire crystal window, making it easy for the people wearing them to see the inwards. The straps of the watch are created from alligator leather.

As noted by horologists, the black titanium Astronomia is a "tribute to the world of cryptocurrencies and to its pioneering and leading example, Bitcoin. It's interspersed with details and features that are directly linked to the Bitcoin universe."

Interestingly, a number of luxury brands are working to integrate crypto into their products or accept crypto for the same. Nike has been planning on integrating cryptocurrencies to how it sells shoes and introduced "CryptoKicks."

In August, Lamborghini announced "The Epic Road Trip" - "a virtual journey that starts from the moon, crosses space and continues in iconic locations across the world" - while confirming four new NFTs each month until March 2023.
