“Mad Men” star Elisabeth Moss is rumored to have the potential of being the fourth Mrs. Tom Cruise.

Almost two year after splitting with actress Katie Holmes, Cruise is rumored to be setting his sights on dating Moss, a known fellow Scientologist famous for her role playing Peggy Olson in the hit AMC series “Mad Men.”

According to claims published by the National Enquirer, Cruise, 51, would please Scientology leaders by dating the TV star, a woman already pegged by the tabloid as his potential “next wife." "Friends think it would be great for both of them—and Scientology,” an insider said, adding that church members would most likely be “delighted” to get Cruise romantically involved with another famous face of the same faith.

While there is no confirmation whether the Cruise is currently dating Moss, 31, insiders say the actress could be a perfect fit for the “Mission: Impossible“ star. “Lizzie is beautiful, smart and a little quirky. She can hold her own in the spotlight, and marrying Tom would be good for both their careers,” said an insider, who claims Moss would also be a great woman to help Cruise grow his family of three—Isabella, 21, Connor, 19, and Suri, 7.

“She has no children of her own and would be an ideal candidate to have one with Tom,” added one insider.

Moss, who has yet to comment on the recent dating allegations, spoke out about her thoughts on the Church of Scientology during a 2013 interview with Popcorn, calling her religion a source of stability in her life and career. “There is so much focus on the empowerment and sort of respecting yourself, and yourself as an individual,” said Moss on her reasons for following the religion, later adding, “But I am also a big believer in taking what works for you from different things, I have a lot of respect for that.”

Holmes, 35, famously filed for divorce from Cruise after five years of marriage in June 2012, multiple outlets citing religion as the main source of contention for the “Dawson’s Creek” star. Since their split, Cruise has been linked to fellow Scientologist and actress Laura Prepon of “That '70s Show” fame, a romance which Cruise has since denied. He was previously married to Mimi Rodgers and Nicole Kidman.

Mosswas previously married to “Saturday Night Live” star Fred Armisen, but divorced after eight months of marriage in 2010, with rumors citing the actress’ faith as a reason for the split. “Her religion was as important to her as their marriage, if not more,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that Armisen, now 47, “could not get with” supporting the controversial religion.
