The Indiana Pacers could potentially make a significant move ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline. The team’s best players are involved in the latest rumors, and Indiana appears to be at least considering offers.

The Pacers are listening to pitches for Malcolm Brogdon, Yahoo Sports’ Vince Goodwill reports. Teams are also monitoring center Domantas Sabonis, according to the report.

A Sabonis trade seems unlikely, given his productivity. Sabonis has made the All-Star team in each of the last two seasons. The 24-year-old is scoring 20.2 points per game and leads the Pacers with 11.2 rebounds per game to go along with 6.2 assists per contest.

Indiana might view Brogdon as expendable because of Caris LeVert, whom the team traded for in January. Brogdon is in the second season of a four-year, $85 million contract. LeVert is a cheaper option at guard, in the first season of a three-year, $52.5 million deal.

Brogdon leads the Pacers with 21.6 points per game. The veteran averages 6.1 assists per game and is making 39.8% of his three-point attempts.

Teams around the league have shown interest in Pacers center Myles Turner, though he doesn’t appear likely to be moved. Indiana point guard Aaron Holiday is on the block with the Pacers seeking a first-round draft pick, according to Goodwill.

With 30 regular-season games left on the schedule, Indiana is 19-23. The Pacers are the No. 10 seed in the East, currently putting them in the play-in tournament to earn a postseason berth.

Entering the season, Indiana was viewed as a likely playoff team. The Pacers have reached the postseason in five straight years.

Indiana hasn’t made it past the first round of the playoffs in seven years.
