Mama June and Honey Boo Boo are returning to TV -- but not in the way that you would expect. According to reports, the former mother and daughter reality show duo will be facing a “health intervention” when they make an appearance on the CBS talk show “The Doctors.”

"She is an obese nine-year-old," Dr. Jennifer Ashton bluntly tells Mama June in a sneak peek video for the upcoming installment. According to Radar Online, the adorable Honey Boo Boo weighs 125 pounds and stands at only 4’6” tall.

E! Online explained that Mama June Shannon and her nine-year-old superstar of a daughter, Alana Thompson, will be getting a lesson in dieting when they appear on the medical show. But will Honey Boo Boo trade her beloved deep fried Oreos and sketti (a mix of ketchup and microwaved butter that's slathered on cooked spaghetti) for a plate fresh fruit?

"What's ironic, and something that I've learned in the emergency department, is the common culprit in a lot of these things is what you're eating," Dr. Travis Stork revealed in clip. "And when I looked in your fridge, Mama June, I'm sorry but I didn't see anything in that fridge that's going to either improve Alana's weight or decrease inflammation in her body."

The doctors will reportedly create a new -- and delicious -- meal plan for Honey Boo Boo and her family, which is based on Stork’s #1 bestselling book “The Doctor’s Diet.” The tasty alternatives will include nutritious drinks, desserts and comfort food choices for the family to enjoy, like a healthy-version of fried chicken. Mama June and her daughters will also work hand-in-hand with a nutritionist to help keep them on track with their new lifestyle.

A panel of experts from "The Doctors" will then check in on Honey Boo Boo and the progress she’s made over the next few months, according to reports.

Mama June is no stranger to weight loss. She previously made headlines after losing a staggering 125 pounds in 2014.

“I’ve always taken pride in how I look,” Mama June told InTouch Weekly after dropping six dress sizes. “I’m happy with the way I am now but I was also happy with myself when I was 400 pounds. I taught myself and my kids that you’ve got to be comfortable no matter what your size.”
