Martha Stewart Weighs In On Memes Suggesting She Could Be Pete Davidson's Next Girlfriend

Martha Stewart just laughed off the viral memes suggesting a budding relationship between her and Pete Davidson.

Earlier this year, the lifestyle guru was snapped with the former "Saturday Night Live" star at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, which had social media buzzing.

When asked about the memes suggesting that she could be the 28-year-old comedian's next girlfriend after his split from Kim Kardashian, the Martha Stewart Living mogul, 81, made it clear she's not about to become Davidson's next love interest.

"Pete Davidson is like the son I never had," Stewart told Daily Mail as she prepares to open her first-ever restaurant at the Paris in Las Vegas. "He is a charming boy who is finding his way."

The "Homekeeping Handbook" author also teased that she may be reuniting with Davidson soon, sharing that she invited the "King of Staten Island" actor to her podcast and was looking forward "to hearing what he has to say."

The memes about Stewart and Davidson began circulating online after the two were pictured holding hands in photos exclusively published by Daily Mail from the White House Correspondents' Dinner in April. However, the gesture was platonic as they were posing with Davidson's then-girlfriend, Kardashian.

Back in January, Stewart had a "chance encounter" with Davidson at Nobu in Malibu, California, where she had dinner with "Queer Eye" food expert Antoni Porowski and his talent agent, Ben Levine.

Stewart shared a snap of her and Davidson on Instagram at the time, describing him as a "cute guy with painted fingernails" in the caption.

"Remember Pete Davidson was one of my fellow roasters on ['The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber'] a few years back. Now he is on ['Saturday Night Live'] and in some very funny movies," she added.

She also shared that the actor was "having dinner with friends" and that Kardashian was not present.

Davidson split from Kardashian, his girlfriend of nine months, in early August. According to reports, they found it difficult to maintain their relationship amid his filming schedule and Kardashian being busy raising her children and running her business.

An unnamed source also told Page Six that their age gap contributed to the breakup as they were "just in very different places at the moment."

"Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment's notice," the insider said. "But Kim has four kids, and it isn't that easy. She needs to focus on the kids."

Kardashian shares North, 8; Saint, 6; Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, with ex Kanye West. She filed for divorce from the rapper in February 2021 and was declared legally single in March.
