There were no players who became instant millionaires in the lottery drawing. If a player was able to hit the Match 5, it would mean a $1 million payout. If a player hit the Match 5 with the 2X Megaplier, they would have won $2 million.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $148 million, with a cash option of $107.1 million. The numbers will be drawn on Tuesday.

Even though there were no instant millionaires, there were plenty of other small prizes.

Seven players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball and won $10,000 each. Only two players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball with a 2X Megaplier purchase, winning $20,000. The other Mega Millions wins from the night ranged between $2 and $1,000.

Lottery winners have the option to receive their winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Those who chose the annuity receive one immediate payment that is followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
