Mega Millions Winning Numbers: Did Anyone Win Dec. 3 Jackpot?

The latest Mega Millions jackpot has continued to climb following the Friday night lottery drawing, which did not yield a winner for the $112 million grand prize.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Friday, Dec. 3 were 22, 45, 48, 58, 61, with a gold Mega Ball of 13. The Megaplier was 5X.

Since there was no lottery winner for the Friday night drawing of $112 million with a cash option of $81.8 million, the jackpot went unclaimed. However, two players became instant millionaires after the latest Mega Millions drawing.

Two players from California hit the Match 5 and won $1 million. If the players would have hit the Match 5 with the Megaplier purchase, they would have won $5 million.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $122 million with a cash option of $89.2 million. The numbers will be drawn on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

Along with the two instant millionaires, there were several other smaller wins from the night. There were six Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball winners that walked away with $10,000 each.

Meanwhile, only one player matched four numbers with the gold Mega Ball and 5X Megaplier, winning a $50,000 prize. The other wins from the night ranged between $2 and $2,500.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350. Lottery winners have the option to receive their winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Those who select the annuity receive one immediate payment that is followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% every year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
