Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery drawing did not produce any winners for its $291 million jackpot, but there were a few instant millionaires of the night. Three players won the Match 5, netting $1 million each.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Tuesday, Dec. 15, were 1, 10, 18, 20, 46, with the 2X Megaplier being 15. Watch the lottery numbers being pulled below.

Tuesday’s unclaimed jackpot was worth a total of $291 million with a cash option of $223.5 million. The next lottery drawing for the jackpot, which is now worth an estimated $310 million with a cash option of $238 million, will be drawn on Friday, Dec. 18, at 11 p.m. EST.

While there was no big jackpot winner as a result of the latest drawing, the three $1 million instant winners were from Georgia, North Carolina, and New Jersey. In addition, dozens of other players also won smaller prizes that ranged from $10,000 to $2. A total of 28 players matched four numbers plus the Megaplier, winning $10,000 each, while over 459,000 people won $2 for having the Megaplier.

Throughout 2020, there have been five Mega Millions jackpot winners. The most recent winner was from Wisconsin, who won a Sept. 15 drawing for $120 million ($95.4 million cash). There was also plenty of big winners throughout the summer of 2020.

An Arizona resident won $414 million ($319.9 million cash) on June 9. A New Jersey player secured $123 million ($100.1 million cash) on July 24, and a California player won $22 million ($17.9 million cash) on July 31. An additional winning ticket was sold to a New Jersey player in February worth $202 million ($142.6 million cash).

In 2019, there were seven big winners of the Mega Millions jackpot. Five players won jackpots in 2018, and six people won in 2017.

The Mega Millions lottery offers cash prizes that start at $2 and range in value up to the current estimated jackpot prize. According to the lottery, there is a one in 24 chance of winning a prize in each drawing.
