The Mega Millions jackpot has grown after the Friday night drawing did not result in any winners for the $22 million prize with a cash value of $15 million. However, there was one instant millionaire from the night that hit the Match 5, winning $1 million.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Friday, May 28 were 10, 14, 20, 47, and 70, with a gold Mega Ball of 15. The Megaplier was 2X.

While one lucky player from Texas won $1 million, there were also smaller monetary prizes that resulted from the night. There were eight Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball players that won $10,000.

However, three of those players won the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with the Megaplier, winning $20,000. Other prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $500.

The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on Tuesday and will be worth an estimated $34 million with a cash option of $23.2 million.

Last week, a player from Pennsylvania hit that jackpot for $515 million. The large win marked one of the largest jackpots in Mega Millions history.

Lottery winners have the option of receiving their grand prize in a one-time lump sum payment of the jackpot cash value or through an annuity.

Those who choose the annuity receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% compared to the previous payment.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
