Although the Mega Millions lottery drawing on Friday didn’t result in any winners for the $34 million jackpot, there was one player who became an instant millionaire from the night.

The winning numbers pulled on Friday, Oct. 1, were 21, 25, 36, 62, 63, with a gold Mega Ball of 6. The Megaplier was 2X.

The unclaimed jackpot on Friday night was worth an estimated $34 million with a cash option of $23.9 million. The Mega Millions jackpot has now grown to an estimated $45 million with a cash value of $31.7 million. The next Mega Millions lottery drawing will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 11 p.m. EST.

On Friday, one player from Florida took home $1 million by matching five numbers. However, the player would have taken home $2 million if they would have played the Match 5 with the 2X Megaplier.

There were nine players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball that won $10,000. However, only four players matched four numbers plus gold Mega Ball with the 2X Megaplier, winning $20,000. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $1,000.

Mega Millions winners can receive their grand prize lottery winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who select the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
