Even though there were no grand prize winners following the latest drawing, several players managed to walk away with smaller wins. However, there were no instant millionaires that resulted from the night.

Players who would have hit the Match 5 could have won $1 million. If a player would have matched the five numbers and purchased the Megaplier, they would have won $2 million apiece.

Four players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, putting their winnings at $10,000. Meanwhile, only one player hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball with a 2X Megaplier purchase, winning $20,000. The other Mega Millions wins from the evening ranged between $2 and $1,000.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $94 million with a cash option of $59.7 million. The numbers will be drawn on Friday, April 8.

The latest lottery drawing comes as a $1 million winning ticket is set to expire in Warren, Michigan. The ticket was purchased at the Warren Market for the May 5, 2021 drawing.

The ticketholder has until May 5 at 4:45 p.m. local time to claim their prize at the lottery’s headquarters in Lansing. Michigan residents have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.

Jackpot winners can receive their grand prize winnings through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
