The Mega Millions jackpot has grown following the Tuesday night lottery drawing, which did not yield a winner for the $60 million grand prize with a cash option of $38.4 million. However, there were plenty of smaller monetary prizes that resulted from the latest drawing.

The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday, March 29 were 7, 22, 36, 45, 47, with a gold Mega Ball of 12. The Megaplier was 2X.

Since the latest Mega Millions grand prize went unclaimed, the jackpot will grow to $70 million with a cash value of $44.7 million. The next jackpot drawing will take place on Friday, April 1.

Following the Tuesday night drawing, a player from Arizona hit the Match 5, winning $1 million. However, the player missed out on the chance to win $2 million by not playing with a Megaplier.

There were 12 players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball and won $10,000 each. Meanwhile, only two players hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with the Megaplier, winning $20,000 apiece. The other Mega Millions wins from the night ranged between $2 and $1,000.

Jackpot winners can receive their winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who chose the annuity receive one immediate payment that is followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

While some states require lottery winners to have their identities revealed, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy recently signed a new bill allowing them to remain anonymous when claiming their prize money.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
