The Tuesday night Mega Millions drawing did not yield a winner for the $20 million jackpot with a cash value of $13.6 million. The jackpot was relatively low after Friday's drawing of a $421 million jackpot was claimed by a ticket in California.

The winning Mega Millions numbers were 11, 24, 38, 62, and 66 with a gold Mega Ball of 1. The Megaplier was 4X.

Although there were no grand prize winners following the latest drawing, one person managed to become an instant millionaire. A player from Connecticut hit the Match 5 and automatically won $1 million.

However, since the player also purchased the Power Play, their winnings for the night increased to $4 million.

Aside from the lone millionaire, there were several other players who won smaller monetary prizes from the Tuesday drawing.

Nine players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, winning $10,000 apiece. Meanwhile, only one player managed to hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with a 4X Megaplier purchase and won $40,000. The rest of the Mega Millions prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $2,000.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $22 million with a cash option of $15 million. The numbers will be drawn on Friday, Feb. 4.

The latest lottery jackpot comes after a player from Mississippi won $1 million. A Harrison County woman claimed a second-place prize from last Friday’s lottery drawing. The woman has been playing the same lucky numbers for years and finally snagged a major prize.

Lottery winners can choose to receive their winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment that is followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% every year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
