The latest Mega Millions jackpot has continued to grow following the Tuesday night lottery drawing, which did not yield any winners for the $22 million grand prize.

However, there was one instant millionaire that resulted from the latest drawing. A player from Massachusetts hit the Match 5 and won $1 million. If the player would have hit the Match 5 with a Megaplier, the ticket would have been worth $5 million.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Tuesday, March 15 were 9, 14, 28, 59, 60, with a gold Mega Ball of 24. The Megaplier was 5X.

There were no grand prize winners for the Tuesday night drawing of $22 million with a cash option of $14.3 million, which means the jackpot went unclaimed.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $29 million with a cash option of $18.9 million. The numbers will be drawn on Friday, March 18.

Aside from the lone millionaire of the night, there were smaller monetary prizes that were won from the latest lottery drawing.

There were seven Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball winners that snagged $10,000 each. Meanwhile, two ticketholders played with a Megaplier and won a $50,000 prize. The other wins from the night ranged between $2 and $2,500.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is one out of 302.5 million. Lottery winners have the option to receive their winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Those who select the annuity receive one immediate payment that is followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
