The latest Mega Millions jackpot will continue to grow following the Tuesday night lottery drawing, which did not yield any winners for the $325 million grand prize.

There were also no instant millionaires that resulted from last night's lottery drawing. Players who would have hit the Match 5 could have won $1 million, whereas players who would have hit the Match 5 with a Megaplier could have won $3 million.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Tuesday, Sept. 27, were 8, 14, 24, 43, 51, with a gold Mega Ball of 9. The Megaplier was 3X.

There were no grand prize winners for the Tuesday night drawing of $325 million with a cash option of $168.1 million, which means the jackpot went unclaimed.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $355 million with a cash value of $183.6 million. The numbers will be drawn on Friday, Sept. 30.

While there weren't any instant millionaires on Tuesday night, some players were able to snag smaller monetary wins from the latest lottery drawing. There were 12 players that hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, winning $10,000 each.

Meanwhile, only three ticket holders played with a Megaplier and won $30,000 apiece. The other wins from the night ranged between $2 and $1,500.

The latest lottery game comes after a $50,000 winning ticket was sold at a convenience store in South Carolina. The ticket was purchased at the Shiv Food Mart in Columbia for the Friday night drawing.

Since the player matched four numbers and the Mega Ball with the Megaplier, their initial $10,000 win was multiplied by five.

Once the ticket is claimed, the Shiv Food Mart will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Mega Millions jackpot winners can receive their grand prize winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states, as well as the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
